Wheatley

Welcome to Wheatley Class! We are a hardworking and lively bunch who all look after each other. We are very much looking forward to our exciting year of learning and fun with Mrs Morgan, Mrs Hallworth and Mrs Carslaw. Everyone in Wheatley class has settled in really well and enjoyed their first few weeks back at school.

Dynamic Dynasties

We have loved starting our new topic ‘Dynamic Dynasties’ where we have investigated historical photographs of objects discovered by archaeologists and looked at we can infer from these photographs about the Shang Dynasty.  

Life Cycles of Animals and Plants

This half term, Wheatley class have enjoyed learning about life cycles of animals and plants. They also learnt the names of the different parts of a flower and their role in the pollination process. They loved having the opportunity to look at real flowers and identify the various parts. 

Maths

The children worked really hard this half-term and enjoyed playing games to consolidate their knowledge of times tables at the end of their lessons.
