In Year Applications
You may wish for your child(ren) to join the school during the school year or outside the normal Reception application timetable. Please call the school to check if we have any spaces in the years that you need.
An in-year application can be made at any time of the year as there is no closing date. Your application will be processed no more than half a term (six weeks) in advance of when a place is required. A school place will normally be allocated from the start of the next half term.
In year applications are dealt with internally. This can be done through the school office.
Appeals
By law, if your child is refused a place at your preferred school, you have the right to appeal against that decision to an independent panel. School admission appeal panels are independent of the school and the local authority. At the hearing, you can present your reasons for preferring that particular school and the panel will decide whether your reasons are strong enough to overturn the admission authority's decision.
You can find further advice on how to make an appeal at Bradford LA's website along with important dates. Make sure you read all the accompanying guidance notes .
Please see the Department for Education's Advice for parents and guardians on school admission appeals for further guidance
